Camp Blue Skies
Camp Blue Skies - Two day overnight camp!
Camp Blue Skies is a bereavement camp that assists children and teens with the loss of a loved one. Children together, will learn to express their feelings and emotions related to grief through art, music, poetry, and therapeutic activities. Through participation in Camp Blue Skies, children will share memories of their loved one, identify supports and learn coping strategies to assist them on their grief journey. "Thank You for Planet Kid and Camp Blue Skies. I just picked up my daughter, Sydney, from camp. She had an amazing time and can't wait to come back next year. Actually she wants to become a counselor there once she turns 18 in 10 years!!! Thanks so much for all of your help. 10 months ago when we lost my Mom, I never imagined it could turn into so many positive experiences for my girl. God Bless you all. xoxo"

What an amazing collection of people! I don't want this to end. I feel that this program and the wonderful people brought a real turning point in my family's grieving process. For some reason, it allowed us to smile more about this awful situation. Thank you will never be enough. I look forward to paying it forward with Life Transitions Center in the future.
