Healing Touch involves several techniques to balance the human energy field to help promote healing. It is a safe and non-invasive therapy that complements traditional, standard care. The HT volunteer uses a compassionate, heart-centered approach and works above or gently on the recipient’s body to restore balance on a  physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual level. Several benefits have been reported including decreased anxiety, pain, and depression, and increased relaxation and a sense of well-being. Sessions will be held on the 1st Tuesday and 3rd Thursday of each month from 6-8 pm at the Education Center Building at The Center for Hospice & Palliative Care.

Testimonials

  • "Thank You for Planet Kid and Camp Blue Skies. I just picked up my daughter, Sydney, from camp. She had an amazing time and can't wait to come back next year. Actually she wants to become a counselor there once she turns 18 in 10 years!!! Thanks so much for all of your help. 10 months ago when we lost my Mom, I never imagined it could turn into so many positive experiences for my girl. God Bless you all. xoxo"

  • What an amazing collection of people! I don't want this to end. I feel that this program and the wonderful people brought a real turning point in my family's grieving process. For some reason, it allowed us to smile more about this awful situation. Thank you will never be enough. I look forward to paying it forward with Life Transitions Center in the future.
